Celebrating African Excellence: Supporting Football and Growth on the Continent

As the road to the FIFA World Cup intensifies, the recent qualifier between Morocco and Niger showcased not just the talent on the field but the spirit of the game that connects millions across Africa.

As fans from across Africa and beyond tuned in to witness the thrilling encounter, Qair was proud to showcase its presence on the billboards of Oujda’s Stade Municipal. On March 21, 2025, Morocco secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Niger. The match began with a goalless first half, but the intensity escalated after the break. Ismael Saibari capitalized on a defensive error to give Morocco the lead, followed by a clinical finish from Bilal El Khannouss that extended their advantage. Despite being two goals down, Niger fought back, with Youssouf Alio Oumarou reducing the deficit and setting up a tense finale. Morocco, however, held firm to claim a crucial win, strengthening their path toward World Cup qualification.

Beyond the excitement on the field, Qair’s sponsorship highlighted its broader mission: just as football unites people and inspires greatness, Qair is dedicated to inspiring a renewable future. Deeply rooted in Africa, with subsidiaries and teams in Morocco, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, and Mauritius, our workforce reflects the diversity and dynamism of the continent. Supporting initiatives like this match is a natural extension of our commitment—not just to business growth, but to the communities we are part of. We are honored to back local events that bring people together and inspire future generations.

Some of our colleagues had the opportunity to attend the match in person, joining the thousands of passionate supporters in the stadium. Their experience reinforced what we already know: football is a driving force for unity and ambition, mirroring the resilience and progress we see across Africa every day.
