Qair is an independent renewable energy company with a strong African presence and a track record as an industry pioneer. Driven by its end-to-end approach, the company continually explores new ways to harness the potential of natural resources across multiple technologies.

Ever since its origins, Qair has been focused on the future of our energy. Over 30 years ago, our teams started creating wind and solar solutions to become a precursor of the energy transition.

Today, our company develops, finances, builds, and operates projects in green hydrogen, marine renewables, onshore renewables and energy management.

We are proud that our entrepreneurial spirit continues to define the way we work. We always use a multi-local approach to involve local stakeholders in all our activities. Integrated renewable energy

From our origins as an Independent Power Producer, we have become a fully integrated energy company. Today, our expertise spans the entire renewable energy value chain, from development, financing and construction to operations, repowering and decommissioning with the objective of supplying cost-effective renewable energy to our clients. We ground this holistic approach in a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Energy management

By offering direct power purchase agreements (PPA) and hydrogen purchase agreement (HPA), we empower our customers to reduce their carbon footprint, minimize price volatility, and benefit from long-term energy security. The key to our offer? A diversified and continually growing asset mix.

Financial closing for a 10 MW project in Feriana, Tunisia.

In April, Qair signs Seychelles’ 1st floating solar PPA onboard its partner zero emmission vessel Energy Observer.

Qair is awarded 60MWac of solar PV and battery storage (BESS) hybrid projects in Mauritius in March.

The Group commissions another 1 MW solar project in Morocco.

Qair launches Tunisia’s first floating solar power plant and commissions 1.7 MW in Morocco.

The Group expands in Africa, exploring Senegal, Guinea, Liberia, and the Republic of Congo.

In February Qair commissions a first solar project in Morocco on Nestlé’s El Jadida site.

The Group enters Chad.

Qair predecessor company Qair International is created in October, the Group establishes in Tunisia and Burkina Faso.

In March, Qair commissions a first wind project in Mauritius: 10 MW Plaines des Roches.
